MURALS FINE ART JOURNAL
Ancient Passages | Featured Exhibit in February
“Sometimes I feel as though I was an artist before I ever was... The longing to explore for the purpose of art seemed ever present in my life, even as a kid. I had a fortunate childhood, but I did not travel at all until my teens. Instead, I rode my horse for miles in a rural Oregon setting that was full of wonder; volcanic terrain, Monarch butterflies, lazy rivers… some of my favorites to this day. Once I was able to extend my ventures, I did. After several trips and art shows that followed, there are some special images that have been burning a hole in my canvas, so to speak, begging to finally be painted. So, this show is a compilation of places and moments that have resonated with me. Now, I bring them to you from Yosemite, Arizona, Costa Rica, Hawaii, and of course, beautiful Oregon.” - Visit Lunaria Gallery in Silverton for the featured show.
The Art of Lori Rodrigues
My art is about exploration. As I interpret geological landscapes, cultural ruins, tropical jungles, or the night sky, art is my way of understanding the subject and sharing it with others. It is a way to interpret the journey and discover more about myself in the process.
